Jazz Strings Sock knitting pattern

Description

This top-down sock in five sizes (XS/S/M/L/XL), based on our popular Strömming Cap design, features a lively textured cuff that segues into a subtle vertical “stripe” which travels down the leg and over the foot. Easy to work knit/purl motifs make this project a quick knitting, good traveler that is readily converted to toe-up construction.Suggested Yarns:

Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, or any springy sock yarn which has approximately 425 yards per 4 ounces. 

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and elasticity.

Finished Size: 

5.5(6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.5) inches in circumference to fit feet measuring up to 7(8, 9, 10, 11) inches around

Yarn Requirements: 

300(325, 350, 400, 450) yards 

Gauge: 

32 sts and 48 rows = 4 inches in stockinette, knit flat (unblocked; fabric will tighten to 8.5 sts per inch when worked in the round) 

Needles:

DPNs size US1 (2.25mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
