Description

Deco Fans by Sara Huntington Burch is inspired by classic art deco wallpaper. Although the stitch pattern looks complex, it features a combination of slipped stitches and simple cabling so colors are worked one at a time.

Worked in two colors of Mecha, the slipped stitches of this pattern provides a great opportunity to pair one a semisolid colorway with one of the highly variegated or watercolor colorways that Malabrigo is known for. Knit flat, it has a button band to provide a variety of different ways to wear the cowl.

SIZE: One size; finished cowl measures 22” (56 cm) long by 10” (25 cm) tall (unbuttoned, flat)
GAUGE:22 stitches x 32 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) in stitch pattern (gauge not critical, but will affect yarn usage)
MATERIALS:
2 skeins (2 colors) of Mecha
US 10.5 knitting needles and a cable needle.
