Description

Arwen is a round-yoked sweater that is worked seamlessly from the top down. After finishing the neck ribbing some short-rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the round-yoke is worked top down with a cute ‘bobbly’ lace pattern band to sleeve separation. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down to the long 2×2 Rib with a light A-line shaping. Sleeve stitches are then picked up again to work the sleeves top down in rounds to the 2×2 Rib cuffs.

Sample is knit in Manos del Uruguay Fino [490 yards (450 m)/100g]. Short sleeve version: 2 (2, 3,3, 3, 4,4) skeins Long sleeve version: 3 (3, 3,4,4,4,5) skeins

Sample is worn with 7.5″ (19 cm) positive ease at bust.
