Description
Pretty lattice-stitch mitts to match the [Broderie Hollandaise hat][1]. The stitch pattern is my own dutch-style version of the classic broderie anglaise stitch, and uses the same knit-long technique along with some left and right twists.
Construction: Mitts are worked in the round from cuff to top. Thumb shaping is part welt, part flap for a lovely fit.
Gauge: 28 sts and 35 rows = 4″ in St st using larger needles.
Techniques used: Knit-long stitches, right and left twist stitches pick up and knit for thumb.
Pattern includes: Written instructions, stitch patterns in both written and charted formats, link to a photo-tutorial demonstrating the stitch pattern techniques.
