The hat is knit in the round seamlessly from the brim to the crown and finished with a contrasting pompom. The scarf is knit flat from the bottom up with the argyle motif using the intarsia technique. The diagonal lines utilize the Swiss darning technique to complete the scarf. Merion by Debbie Bliss is a thick and easy yarn. This yarn is single ply and a dream to work with. The intarsia and Swiss darning patterns are in chart form only.
