Gauge (exact gauge isn’t critical, but you may use more yarn if you don’t meet the gauge): 16 sts/32 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, blocked. The sample was knitted in a heavy worsted/Aran-weight superwash merino and used about 1050 yds (960 m). Some suggested substitute yarns are noted here.
