Mitts: 130 (160) yards of heavy fingering or sportweight yarn
Small (shown, approximately 6 ¾” / 17 cm long, fits ladies’ 7 – 7 ½” (18-19 cm) palm) or Large (approximately 7 ½” / 19 cm long, fits ladies’ 8 – 8 ½” (20.5 – 21.5 cm) palm)
US 3 (3.25 mm) double-pointed needles (DPNs), or size needed to obtain correct gauge
Cowl: 165 (190) yards of heavy fingering or sportweight yarn
Small (shown, approximately 17 ½” / 44.5 cm circumference) or Large (approximately 20″ / 51 cm circumference), 8 ½” / 21.5 cm tall
US 6 (4.0 mm) 16″ [40 cm] circular needle, or size needed to obtain correct gauge
