Fisherman’s Cowl is worked flat in one piece from side to side, and grafted or seamed to form a cylinder – wider at the base, narrower at the top. This shaping doesn’t require short rows, but is a natural result of the difference in row gauges between the waffle stitch and the cable.
Gauge: 17 sts = 4″ (10 cm) in waffle rib.
