Knit this little fishy as a cat toy, or make a shoal of fish to hang from a crib mobile. The fish’s eyes are knitted bobbles with buttons for pupils. If you are making a fish for your pet, please don’t use buttons as they could be dangerous if swallowed, it is safer to embroider the pupils in yarn instead. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the fish is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
