Description

Simple and effective, this shawl has a delicate central lace panel and garter stitch outer panels. Worked from the bottom up, optional beads are added to the lace central panel. They add weight and sparkle to the shawl.

• Small Shawl: Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply (55% Merino wool, 45% Silk; 399yds/365m per 100g skein); Colour: Slate; 2 skeins
• Large Shawl: Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace (45% Silk, 55% Merino; 1094yds/ 1000m per 100g skein); colour: Gold; 1 skein

Needles & Notions

• US #8/5mm circular needle 32”/80cm or longer for cast-on only
• Small: US #7/4.5mm circular needle 48”/120cm or longer
• Large: US #6/4mm circular needle 48”/120cm or longer

2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, size 13/.85mm crochet hook for beads, approx 210 (340) beads size 6/0

Row 8 (WS): Sl 1 k-wise, knit to last st before m, p1, sl m, p2, p3, place bead on st and purl st, p4 repeat to last 5 sts before m, p5, sl m, p1, knit to end of row.
