Description
In my design work I like clean lines and simple fabric, many times sticking with Stockinette. In my new book Texture I had fun playing with simple stitch patterns… how much texture can you add while still keeping things minimal and clean? This design, originally for *Making magazine, *continues on that path, a simple texture created with knit and purl stitches against a clean, classic silhouette. For this spring cardi it was a delight to work with Habu Wool Linen, a fiber blend I am very fond of, though not seen so often!
