Knitting kit for Irma T-shirt in Önling No 12 + silk mohair

Here is the perfect classic and feminine summer t-shirt with a pretty lace pattern. Wear it with pretty summer skirts or pants and your favorite sandals. The model is short and slightly oversized, ie. with a positive ease of aprox. 5-10 cm 2-4 inches, and normal armhole depth. It has a wide neck opening to let us show off our nice summer tan. The pattern also describes how to make ¾-length sleeves.

Here we knit Irma in a wonderful mix of Önling No 12 and Önling No 10, silk mohair, for a delicious, airy and soft result. These two yarns are beautiful together, as Önling No 12 provides a nice base in cotton and thin wool and Önling No 10 adds lightness and luxury.

Worked with one strand Önling No 12 and one strand Önling No 10 held together throughout.

Recommended circular needles sizes 3 and 3½ mm / US 2.5 and 4, in 80 cm / 32 inches length (we use magic loop for small circumferences)

Gauge 22 sts and 36 rows in stockinette st on needle size 3½ mm / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Procedure
The top is worked in the round from the top down. First, the yoke is worked with short rows and increases, and then with increases embedded in the lace pattern. Subsequently the work is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately. This makes it possible to try on the top as you go and make it fit perfectly for you. The length is easily adjusted to be made shorter or longer as you prefer.
