Ito Sensai Shawl

Description

Feather-light like a dream – this large shawl made of ITO Sensai (60% mohair, 40% silk) weighs only between 120-130 g. With its dimensions of approx. 180 cm / 71” x 68 cm / 27”, it can be worn as a shoulder wrap or a scarf. The shawl is made in a small knitwear workshop in Japan on a fine gauge knitting machine the tiny stitches are difficult to achieve with hand knit.

For those who prefer to knit a similar shawl by hand, we recommend the ITO Osaka pattern & 5 balls of ITO Sensai in your favorite color. The stitches will be a little bigger with the recommended needle size of US 6/ 4mm.
