I designed the Log Cabin Jumper for a holiday in Finland in the snow. It is knitted in parts to the yoke and then continued in rounds .Written instructions include charts and are for approximate ages 1 – 9 years. The colour work design is deceptively simple consisting of a repeat of just four stitches and the decreases are always on single colour rounds. The pattern gives specific colours of Willow and Lark Ramble or Debbie Bliss Rialto DK for both jumpers, both pure wool, but you could use any yarn of the same gauge. You will need less tha 50g of the contrasting colours, 3 for the blue and 4 for the green.
