Malabrigo Nubes are 4oz braids of ultra-soft  and squishy hand-dyed unspun merino top. These fiber braids are perfect for felters, spinners, and knitters alike.

Available in vibrant colorways, “Nube” is the Spanish for the word “cloud” and as the name suggestions, this merino top line is incredibily soft and fluffy, like working with clouds! t It is truly a joy to spin, full of fluff and unparalleled softness! You can also knit with the roving itself for a uniquely fluffy effect, or use it for thrums or needle felting.

The colors are fabulous across all variants and as you spin they can surprise you with the color variety. Then if you ply you will get even more depth. If you’re spinning the fiber braid, we suggest fluffing out the fiber a little or even carding to ensure spinning ease as pulling and drafting from the braid itself may be a little stiff, (but it is doable).

Colors may vary between braids and dye lots. When planning a project requiring more than one braid allow for nuances. This fiber is hand-dyed so each braid can vary in color, even in the same dyelot.
