Description

This scarf is ideal for using a subtle gradient set. You can use either a single gradient skein or several mini-skeins that blend smoothly together. The scarf uses a double bias to make for a very interesting knit, with both the fabric and stitch pattern bias creating a parallelogram that has a wavy biased edge.

• 1 Set Fiber Optic Yarns ‘Paintbox Gradient Kasmir’ (80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 450 yds /411 m per 4.25 oz /120 g divided into 15 mini-skeins, each 30 yd / 28 m per 0.28 oz / 8 g); Colour: Autumn Harvest Gradient

NEEDLES & NOTIONS 

• US size 6 / 4 mm circular needle, or straight needles 
• Tapestry needle

Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter’s gauge is unique.

GAUGE 

• 22 sts and 27 rows = 4”/10 cm in Biased Pattern 
• 17 sts and 36 rows = 4”/10 cm in Garter Stitch
