Description
In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal and punishable by law to wear, make, or distribute. As purveyors of traditional craft, we felt it appropriate to revisit this design. Pattern emailed at time of purchase. Please check your in box and spam folder!
Sample shown in Blue Sky Fibers Skyland for the DK version. However, the pattern will work with about 200 yards of RED yarn of any Fingering, DK or Worsted.
Design by Paul Neary/Yarn Cult who is donating All proceeds from the sale of the Melt the Ice pattern to the LynLake community of businesses who will distribute the funds to those impacted by the actions of ICE.
