Knitting pattern for Mrs. H’s Summer Shawl
Here is the pattern for a beautiful summer shawl with a lovely lace pattern. Mrs. H’s Summer Shawl is perfect for summer knitting, as it is light and airy, yet will keep you warm on cool summer evenings. The shawl is knitted in one strand Önling No 2, which is carded using a special technique that makes both the yarn and the finished shawl incredibly light.

Procedure
Start knitting the shawl at the neck. It has an obvious right and wrong side. Make increases at each edge and each side of the middle stitch on every second row. End with spikes, one at a time, that are made in a continuation of the shawl. Do not break the yarn after each spike – instead, ‘walk’ the yarn to the next starting point for knitting the next spike. The shawl is knitted from charts or as written in the text.
