Description

Puddles the Mallard duck is paddling in the pond! Knitted mostly in stockinette with increases and decreases for shaping, Puddles uses intarsia colour-work and has knitted bobbles for toes. To make a standing duck, insert wire or wooden dowelling inside the legs, however please do not do so if making the toy for a young child for safety reasons. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the duck is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
