Description
Knitting pattern for Silk Sweater
A light and feminine sweater designed with small, elegant stars formed by the increases along the yoke, creating a subtle graphic expression. Resulting in a light and comfortable sweater that suits the danish weather perfectly from spring to autumn – and in winter works beautifully under a cardigan or jacket. The stars add extra character to the design but can easily be omitted if a more neutral look is desired.
The sleeves are designed with a ¾ length for a summery feel, but the pattern also explains how you can easily work the sleeves in full length. The fit is slightly oversized with a gentle A-shape – this can also be omitted if you prefer a straighter silhouette. The choice of colors and yarn gives the sweater many different expressions, allowing you to create your own unique version.

The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. A crocheted provisional cast-on is used so the neckline can be adjusted afterwards. Short rows are worked at the beginning to shape the shoulders and back of the neck to ensure a good fit. The yoke is worked with increases forming small stars, which can be omitted for a simpler look. The work is then divided into body and sleeves and finished separately
