Tidelines knitting pattern

Description

A pattern of ridges and holes runs down the leg and over the foot of this top-down sock in three sizes S(M, L) like lapping waves. The gently curving motif is very easy to work and shows off a soft, self-striping yarn beautifully. Can be reversed for toe-up construction.

Suggested Yarns:

Better Better Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, Modern Deco Sport,or any sport weight sock yarn. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

Finished Size:
6.5(8, 9.5) inches in circumference to fit feet measuring up to 8(9.5, 11) inches around

Yarn Requirements:

300(350, 400) yards

Gauge:

30 sts and 44 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (knit flat)

Needles:

DPNs size 1US (2.25 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
