TOIKA Closed Bottom Boat Shuttles

Toika Closed Bottom Boat Shuttles are made of solid hardwood and are finely finished—they’re also lightweight, and are well balanced for an easy throw. These shuttles are 10% lighter than most others on the market. The spring-operated shaft allows for ease in changing bobbins. No rollers.

Please note: Only the Leclerc 4″ Styrene Bobbins work with the 8½” boat shuttle. To more easily release the bobbin for this shuttle, use a pen or knitting needle to push the inner rod to the right and out. We recommend the 4″ Schacht Bobbin for the 11″ shuttle and the 5″ Schacht Bobbin for the 13″ shuttle.
