Two Sisters is a butterfly-shaped shawl worked in two related lace patterns – one little, one big, with parallel waves running between them.
Shape is a skewed rectangle: 76″ long by 30″ wide on the ends and 13″ wide in the center.
Gauge: 22 sts / 4″ in St st. This is a loose gauge for the yarn used, which typically knits up at 24-28 sts per 4″.
Yarn: Substitute any sport weight yarn that makes a nice loose fabric when worked to gauge. 1210 yds.
