Description

Vaike is worked from the narrow point of the left edge. Stitches are increased every RS row in the cable pattern and then onward into the Stockinette stitch section. A cute 3 x 1 ribbing is worked last. The combination of cables, stockinette and ribbing give this shawl a sophisticated yet casual look.

Gauge – 22.5 sts x 30 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in cable pattern after blocking. 18 sts x 30 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch after blocking.
