Description

This group of six Woodland Friends includes a fox, rabbit, squirrel, mouse, owl and hedgehog. A fancy faux fur yarn is used to knit the fluffy pieces for the owl, hedgehog and squirrel. These toys also have some accessories to keep them warm on their travels: a waistcoat, scarf and a satchel bag. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted mostly on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the mouse’s tail is i-cord worked on two DPNs. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short row shaping, and seaming to finish.
