The pattern describes multiple different stripe patterns with 3, 4 and 5 colors and stripe combinations. You can choose the colors you like.
If you select a great contrast between the colors you can get an effect like the black/grey model. The original kits from Hanne Falkenberg are composed of 2 colors in the same family. (e.g. red/orange or 2 grey), a lighter and a darker contrast.

Col. 90 Oats, 101 winter white OR 108 Mushroom are great alternatives for Elfenben.
Gauge: 25 sts and 50 rows in garter sts on ndl 3 mm = 10 x 10 cm
Worked with one thread throughout
Suggested needles: 2 circular needles: 3 mm, ca. 80 cm long, needle for sleeves, ca 2,5 mm
